Rebecca Vuyovich Becomes First Technology Teacher Education Degree Recipient

STARKVILLE, MS - Rebecca Vuyovich, distance education student and Pi Omega Pi member from the department of Instructional Systems and Workforce Development has received the first degree for the new Technology Teacher Education major available at Mississippi State University.

The degree, providing a business technology concentration, prepares students to teach business courses at the high school and career and technology centers, teach Information and Communication Technology I and II at the middle school, teach cooperative education, as well as other business and technology classes.

Graduates acquire a national certification in computer literacy as well as a certification to teach online. This degree is offered as an online degree through the Center for Distance Education and face to face on the Starkville campus. For more information, visit iswd.msstate.edu.
